Why the PureFlow 2000?
The PureFlow 2000 and PureFlow 2000+ have been engineered to be the only purification system you will ever need. Quality and versatility are the main features of the Pureflow 2000. Using a multi-stage filtration and purification process enables the PureFlow 2000 to effectively purify water from many different sources and remove many different contaminants. The versatility of the PureFlow 2000 provides pure water for your home and protection you can depend on in any emergency situation.
First stage purification (Plus model only): To start the purification process the PureFlow 2000 plus uses a 1 micro pleated style pre-filter with 6 square feet of cleanable filtering surface area. This stage removes mud, dirt, and fine sediment allowing the PureFlow 2000 plus to be effective in even the worst situations.
Second stage, plus model only: With the PureFlow 2000 systems purification starts with out highly efficient cleanable ceramic micro filter which provides genuine sub-micron filtration (0.5 microns). The ceramic cartridge is manu- factured with highly consistent and controlled pore structure necessary to remove a wide range of water borne contaminants.
99.99% removal of bacteria & >99.999% removal of Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Final stage purification: After bacteria and ultra fine sediment have been removed the water passes through a highly dense solid block of extruded activated carbon. This carbon block is like no other. The extremely porous structure of tiny fused carbon particles offers chlorine removal for 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of water with 1 ppm of chlorine. Our carbon block also offers effective removal and absorption of tastes, odors, volitile organix comounds (VOCs), chlorine by-products, pesticides, herbicides and other dangerous chemicals.
